Responsible for the complete build and release process including automation, nightly builds and packaging the release.
Design and develop build and packaging tools for continuous integration build and reporting.
Perform regular builds and package releases
Automate the build and release cycles
Coordinate all build activates, ensure all processes are well documented
Manage source control repositories including branching and tagging.
You would own the release process, including generating and delivering release packages, generate various metrics for tracking issues against releases. You would also be managing the bug system. We are also constantly looking for better ways to do things including bug tracking systems, source code control, code coverage tools etc. You would have the opportunity to get involved in these items. You would provide a supporting role in the maintenance of the S/W Lab resources used for testing.
Job Requirements : Must have experience in automating a build and release process in a UNIX based environment.
Must have experience with SCM tools such as CVS and Clearcase, and be proficient in activities such as branching, merging.
Must be able to manage bug system and update the internal software web page. Familiarity with various software development tools including: make (gmake), Python, PHP, Perl, Electric Commander, Jira, Gnats, Clearcase, CVS
