As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for Mobile Bluetooth software and hardware program management for our global customers. You will be the main point of contact for Bluetooth software and hardware engineering team located in San Diego and Irvine for a specific platform or program.
-Partner with product marketing groups and engineering teams to ensure the technical milestones are delivered to each customer on time -Manage clear communications with field application engineering to understand the customer needs and provide direction for solutions -Keep track of each project status with each customer -Generate technical reports for customers which involve multidisciplinary complex software and hardware issues collaborating with the engineering teams -Manage all the commitments from Bluetooth software team and chipset development engineering on track for product release -Bring up the right technical resources for urgent support request from customers -Develop a master schedule for Bluetooth software delivery in new and key programs -Make a clear communication with other Broadcom business units to coordinate turn key solution for certain mobile platforms -Travel and visit overseas customer sites to better understand the project status and technology support requests Job Requirements : -Bachelor’s, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent / Master’s, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science and/or Business Administration (preferred) -Minimum of 3 years program management and/or engineering management and 3-6 years of engineering domain experience required in software and/or hardware (ASIC) development projects in all development cycles -Experience in the embedded wireless industry, WPAN, WLAN or Location Based Technology is strongly desired -Ability to prioritize each technical solution deliverable for multiple customer requests by understanding the business impact -Strong technical and interpersonal communication skills -Bilingual English/Korean is highy desired City : San Diego State : California Country : United States
