Description:
Coordinate and schedule both internal and external meetings/events; communicate with outside customers regarding meeting arrangements. Manage schedules and calendars for department activities. Arrange department travel (domestic and international) and itineraries. Maintain expense account records, financial records and confidential files (i.e. credit card transaction/tracking, travel expense reports, vendor contracts/agreements, etc.). Attend staff meetings – prepare agendas, take meeting minutes and distribute to staff. Prepare correspondence, spreadsheets, presentations or other documents as requested. Screen phone calls; answer questions or direct calls to appropriate person when available. Assist hiring managers and human resources with interview coordination for prospective candidates – create employee requisitions, assist with scheduling interviews, escorting and monitoring candidates. Follow up on action items without direction of supervisor. Coordinate many high priority items at once. Consult with supervisor on major decisions and following precedence using Broadcom guidelines.
Provides administrative support to Corporate Services team members on an as-needed basis. Maintain break/copy areas and conference rooms routinely.
Job Requirements : Associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
Additional related training preferred.
Must have at least 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook) and Internet applications.
Ability to understand job duties and responsibilities, have necessary job, technical and equipment skills/knowledge and keep current with new developments.
