Business Systems Analyst - Human Resources

BASIC FUNCTION:

HR IT Analyst will be a member of the team supporting systems and applications for the Human Resources organization. This employee will work closely with the HR functional specialists, other business analysts, application developers, and various business users on defining, documenting, configuring, testing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting HR business applications.

CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work with various HR departments to identify key business objectives and to recommend technology solutions.
• Systems engineering / business process analysis to understand, define, document and analyze information technology solution requirements for the HR organization.
• Act as a liaison between the HR users and the IT team to gather and analyze requirements.
• Create functional specifications, execute test plan, UAT and train end-users on process changes.
• Work with external vendors and internal development teams, including off-shore resources to create the complete HCM solutions.
• Train and support users in the ongoing operation of the systems employed
• Provide production support and troubleshooting for issues related to various HR applications (HRMS, stand-alone, custom, vendor-hosted, etc.)
• Communicate status, issues and improvement opportunities to management and the team
Job Requirements : QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Thorough understanding of HR processes (personnel management, compensation and benefits management, recruiting, talent management, HR operations and data processing, etc.) and knowledge on how to implement business process changes.
• Experience with implementing and supporting global PeopleSoft HR environment (ver 9.0 is preferred). Familiarity with the PeopleSoft Portal, PeopleCode, PeopleTools, SQR, Application Engine, and PSQuery are required. An understanding of the technical components of the PeopleSoft architecture is required. Working experience in project management, business analysis, and solution deployment highly desired.
• Must be a team player, with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to work in stressful situations, multitask, set priorities, meet deadlines and manage customer and management expectations. Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills are a must.
• Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 5 years of applicable work experience with HR systems and applications.

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
• Experience as an HR professional in a high growth international company with multiple locations.
• Experience with 3-rd party HR applications (Applicant Tracking, Learning Management, Compensation and Performance Management Systems).
• Working knowledge of Remedy, MS SharePoint, MS Project and other business tools.
• PeopleSoft certification.
