* Design, develop, test and support of Ethernet PHY drivers and Switch drivers as well as APIs to control and configure Ethernet switches
* Work with Software, Hardware, Architecture and Design teams to define requirements and architecture for future generations of switch systems.
* Support customers and to help identify and architect components to speed their time to market.
Job Requirements : You must understand networking concepts and protocols, Ethernet switches and Ethernet PHY concepts, distributed applications, machine architecture and operating system concepts.
You must possess strong C coding abilities (C++ and assembler an asset) with extensive embedded design, programming and debugging experience
Experience with Linux or VxWorks is required. TCL scripting language experience is an asset.
You must be highly motivated, quick learner, and be able to work both independently and as a member of a team.
You must 5+ years experience; BSCS, BSEE or equivalent required, Masters preferred.
